North Wales Police chose TETRA Active

North Wales Police have chosen a Tetra Active system to monitor and measure the behaviour of their base stations across their network. The Force reviewed the product in early 2013 and decided that Tetra Active’s comprehensive features and reporting capability offered the most cost-effective option for testing network performance. 

Due to its mountainous terrain, including Snowdonia National Park and extensive coastline, geographically North Wales presents a challenge to provide reliable service in all situations. The Force hope to find out more about their use of the TETRA valid site profile feature and the effect distant sites have on service when operating in Local Site Trunking (LST) mode.
