Specification, Testing and Acceptance Workshop for IS Staff
The number of IT system acceptances seems to increase every year, and the abiliy to write accurate, unamibiguous, technically flawless project specifications is more crucial than ever. Any new system you receive should be the product of your specifications - if you specify incorrectly, your system will not be what you wanted. With this course you can learn the very best tips, techniques and guidance for writing top-class specs so that you always get the results you need.
The workshop lasts for one day and uses a mixture of theory-based presentations, practical exercises and 'real world' snenarios.
Course content covers the following key areas:
- The importance of User requirements
- How to develop test scripts in the real world
- The difference between functional and performance testing
- How to repeat tests and regression testing
- How to trace User requirements through design verification and acceptance
 Each workshop examines the whole life-cycle of the test and verification process. At the end of each session delegates are presented with an information pack covering course content and test examples.
